Nicole Cherecwich
Nicole is a teaching and performing artist, currently based in Colorado Springs. She offers voice and piano lessons to students of all ages, levels, and styles. She teaches in-person lessons in the Colorado Springs area, but also offers remote lessons! In addition to her private studio, she works as a mentor at the Colorado Springs Conservatory.
Nicole has been teaching and performing for years, and received her Masters in Music from The University of Delaware. While there, she ran a voice studio of undergraduate students, including those in the BA music program and music minors. She ran a private studio in the Washington D.C. area, while also working at the International School of Music. In addition to classical and operatic training, she has extensive musical theatre experience.
Recent roles and performances include Luisa in The Fantasticks with Opera Fort Collins, Jo in Little Women (the musical), Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Anne in A Little Night Music, and Circe in a new opera, Penelope.
Nicole began playing piano long before she started singing. She has experience as an accompanist, music director, and soloist.
